Undocumented: The Film

The Dreamer Fund and the USF Migration Studies program are teaming up with the Roxie Theater to bring the film screening of, "Undocumented," to our community. Half of the proceeds of this film screenings will benefit a special scholarship on behalf of the Dreamer Fund to the graduate students of the USF Migration Studies program. A conversation with the filmmaker, Patricia Shih, will follow and will be moderated by Prof. Bill Ong Hing, of the University of San Francisco. Roxie Theater 3117 16th St., San Francisco - Tuesday, July 30 at 6:30 pm. PRICE: Admission is $9 students & seniors, $15 general, $20 supporter and $30 as benefactor.

The proceeds made during the happy hour will be donated to buy the supplies needed to put on #Undocufest 2019 @ El Rio. To make sure this festival is a safe space for everyone involved, we must come in prepared!

WAKING DREAM Series Launch

Waking Dream weaves together the stories of six undocumented young people as they sit in limbo between deportation and a path to citizenship. WAKING DREAM Series Launch Celebration and Screening with a participatory live mural installation and community discussion. Join the Movement fundraising Happy Hour happening at Rock Bar on Wednesday Oct 24 from 6-10 pm.  Sliding scale donation of $5-$20. All proceeds made will be split evenly between the Dreamer Fund & Pueblo Sin Fronteras.  Tamales provided by Chicano Nuevo!  DJ Tylawave providing the dance party! 


Help DreamerFund and Pueblo Sin Fronteras support immigrants in our community at every stage of their journey.  Proceeds for the Dreamer Fund will help provide financial support for Dreamers and undocumented law students in California.  Proceeds for PSF will be put towards housing for folx released from detention centers locally. 

Danza for Resilience

Join the Dreamer Fund in celebration of the resilience of undocumented and immigrant communities, through the dance narratives of cultures from across the globe. Refugee Caravan Fundraiser

The Refugee Caravan—now over 600 strong, has traveled halfway across Mexico, and in order to reach their destination safely, they will need buses, food and basic supplies. Help the Dreamer Fund and Join the Movement, in collaboration with Pueblo Sin Fronteras, in raising funds and support for the caravan, during a night of music and solidarity with DJ Tylawave and LOUDA. UNDOCUMENTED: Immigration in America

Featuring three powerful short films which provide a powerful glimpse into the lives of people affected by DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). There will be a Q & A panel with the filmmakers and a panel discussion about the implication of deportation and the separation of families, the impact of being undocumented and getting higher education, and lastly, the current state of immigration and specifically, DACA. Undocumented Law Student Panel

They will also be joined by Professor Jacqueline Brown Scott, who is the Supervising Attorney of the Immigration & Deportation Defense Clinic at USF School of Law.
